Get your reception pupils drawing with this latest art competition!
Me and My Family is a fun drawing competition for your class. Your reception pupils are invited to draw a picture of their family - it could be a relative, a carer, a pet or a group picture. They could even draw a self-portrait!
🎨 Drawings will be published in a bright, full-colour Me and My Family book series, so get out the colouring pencils.
📕Our favourite picture from each book will feature on the front cover, and the artist will win a creative goody bag.
🥇We will also be awarding one winning school a bumper chest full of art supplies!
You can request as many entry forms as you need for your class using the resources tab on this page - we'll send as many as you need free of charge.

To make sure your entries are valid, please follow the rules listed below:
Closing Date: Friday 19th Dec 2025
Entries MUST be scanned for upload/email or posted. We cannot accept photos of entries.
Only one entry per pupil, there is no limit to the number of entries per school. Please submit your entries all together where possible!
Please use one Teacher Entry Form for each teacher entering.
Ask your pupils to draw their picture, ensuring their name, age and school name are included.
Your pupils' entries must be on a Me and My Family entry form.
Artwork must be below the line - anything over the line will be cut off.
Your pupils' drawings must be their own work!
Your pupils can use pencils, pens, felt-tips, crayons, paints, chalks, pastels, etc. to create their picture.
Open to pupils in reception class.
UK entrants only.

For Clubs
The winning school will receive a bumper art chest full of supplies!
PLUS every participating school receives a free copy of the book their pupils' artwork features in.
For Children
The winning little artist's drawing will become the book's title and front cover, and they will receive a goody bag full of creative supplies!
Plus every entrant receives stickers for taking part and there are certificates for those whose artwork is included in a book.
